| Racing the Cane is committed to improving the lives of children in the sugarcane fields of the Dominican Republic and cane shack communities of Ecuador. Through a yearly race we get families and communities physically involved in raising funds and shoes. In turn, we provide a racing event and educational assistance for children living on the sugar cane plantations. We believe that education and enterprise can help stop the cycle of poverty and give these children the option of a better life. |
